Loving Max in Home Care is a family owned by a couple, Sara Nogueira and Esmeraldo Silva Sara became a caregiver in 2003 when she had to care for her first born, Max, named after this business. Max was born with a disease called Congenital Disorder Glycosylation (CDGs) and Sara became his primary care provider until he passed away in 2006. Since then, Sara strives to help aging people/disabilities with their daily tasks and wants to develop a caring relationship with them.

Esmeraldo has extensive experience caring for people as well since 1990s. Esmeraldo graduated from Portland Community College with a business administration degree and is currently working as a Human Services Specialist for the state of Oregon.
